2020 Patchwork

This vintage is enrapturing, expressive, and elegant. The nose promenades the full variety of Zinfandel aromas such as red currant, plum, cherry, and strawberry fruit leather. The medium-plus body is just weighty enough to be satisfying but not overwhelming. The Petit Verdot and Merlot step into the spotlight on the palate, giving smooth tannins, a balanced acidity, and a good structure.  The finish is long and more floral violet notes come out near the end.
